Himmat Plus is a free Android application launched by Delhi Police, specially designed to ensure women's safety in Delhi. The app requires registration after downloading from the store to get a registration key (OTP) to complete the configuration.
The app provides a safety feature where the user can raise an SOS alert from the Himmat App, and the location information and audio-video are transmitted to Delhi Police control room. The Delhi Police can then immediately send the nearest Police help to the victim. This feature makes it easy for women to call for help in case of any emergency.
